So apparently all I want to do these days is make videos. So I’ve been making them. Yes, we’ve got some music coming out soon. In the meantime, though, video. And so we made this short, informative look into the world of our band. Sort of.

Apparently I don’t write in my blog anymore. In fact, I sort of forgot that I had it. In point of fact, I don’t really have a lot to say right now, although I have been busy.

Ego Puppets has a new drummer. I say that only so that you’ll know that, so you’ll know who the guy behind the drums is at our shows and whatnot. His name is David. He’s a very pleasant young man. Also, he’s a bad mother fucker. Say hi to him on twitter or something. Actually, I just checked, and he doesn’t really tweet. Whatever. Go to his house and hit on his girlfriend or something. That oughtta get his attention.

Somewhat more importantly, we’ve got a show coming up this Wednesday January 11. It’s at Pianos, with a bunch of other people whom we like a lot, such as The Bright Silence, and Matt Singer, and Ivan and the Terribles. There’s info-type stuff on our facebook.

Anyway, that’s that. Also, I’ve been taking a lot of pictures, and posting them on instagram, which also links to the Ego Puppets tumblr. That’s here: egopuppets.tumblr.com

Floating, Spring, a show May 6

It’s springtime, and we’ve been spending a whole lot of time making videos, and recording new songs, and drinking in the park, and forming side projects, and recording songs with friends’ bands and a whole lot of other things that aren’t “playing shows.” And even though everything else feels awesome to do, I’m kinda bummed on this whole “not playing shows” thing. And the worst part is that it’s not gonna change much in the immediate future (for reasons as good as they are multifarious)… except for just this one. Only one. Just one. Exactly one show in NY for the month of May, and that’s that. It’s at Bowery Electric on May 6th with our dear dear friends Taurus and Mother Feather. It’s going to rule. You should definitely come.

I did spend the better part of the last few weeks playing guitar with Banjo Or Freakout. I also fired a gun a few times. It was weird. Now I’m back in NYC, getting ready for spring, an EP release, some shows, some new videos, a short film, and maybe some touring. Or possibly just an LSD binge. Details to follow.

Websites, and other things that don’t matter

So we’ve got a new website now. It’s gonna have stuff on it, and all sorts of information and videos and pictures and sounds and smells and whatnot, and we’re going to update it all the time with blog posts and other such things that you might be interested in if you’re interested in that sort of thing. So here it is. We’re still gonna keep all that other stuff, the twitbook and the facespace and the yout oob and so forth. We just figured we should have a place where you can get it all, real easy-like.
